Google suspending account indefinitely

Discuss Super Affiliate System methods, and share ideas, tips, and advice.

Does this mean Iā€™m done with Google? I had my daughter create a google ad account under her name. But will they catch it and suspend her too?

Not necessarily. Search on Google and suspension on this forum (you will get a million hits on Google!). Make sure you followed the directions John provides exactly - it is easy to make errors that can be ā€˜fatalā€™ to your account. Make sure your ad account is up to date in terms of all information and payment. They seem to prefer a bank account rather than a credit card for payment. You may get a call from an ads specialist - listen to what they have to say. Look for alternative ad networks - look in the resources and previous versions of this program if you are not yet cleared for some of the more advanced topics on this course. Donā€™t give up!

Was it a circumventing systems violation?

OK, I just ran into this exact situation. I did use my credit card for billing vs. a bank account. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Anyway, you mention ā€œMake sure you followed the directions John provides exactly - it is easy to make errors that can be ā€˜fatalā€™ to your account.ā€ There were no directions on setting up the account in Week 2 of the course. John just jumped right into setting up the ad & bypassed the account setup step. Are there more detailed instructions in another video I might have missed? Iā€™m pretty good at researching but if you can point me in the right direction it could save me a ton of time. Thx!!

Yes, I ran into this exact ā€œviolationā€ & I followed Johnā€™s Week 2 Google Ads instructions to the letter. Maybe they just donā€™t like the fact I used a CC instead of a bank account. Iā€™ve already appealed & they sent me the same response as gkesler got. If I appeal again I really donā€™t know what to say. Should I request to switch from a CC to a bank account?

Thx Sabrina!

Not sure but itā€™s worth a try

OK, so I sent yet another appeal explaining that I want to change my billing preference from CC to a bank account. Iā€™ll see how far this gets. Thx again for the help!

I donā€™t know why it worked - I am not associated with Google, nor with the wonderful SAS support folks - just another member trying to figure out the best way to make a fortune!

Iā€™m back in action with Google  They unsuspended my account. They said they were doing security checks & Iā€™m clear now. What a PITA. Good thing Iā€™ve been in IT so long, Iā€™m used to software vendors playing games like this with customers. I think it would be SUPER helpful to new students to have at least a short video giving a heads up to such shenanigans.

Kevin,

So, that took 6 days?! My account got suspended last night. Within hours after creating it and posting my first ad, which also got disapproved. Really disappointed and not sure where to turn. Iā€™ve sent them an explanation, but I havenā€™t heard back from them yetā€¦ The waiting game is no fun when youā€™re trying to get something started. Money loves speed, but when money canā€™t go anywhere, it kind of sucksā€¦

I just received an email from Google Ads Support & my account has been reactivated. They said ā€œYour account was temporarily suspended to verify your billing information and policy compliance.ā€ I wish they would have said this in the beginning & not sent the other notices saying it was shut down due to ā€œa circumventing systems violationā€. For now Iā€™m going to switch my billing to my bank account to be safe but will change it later on. Iā€™d rather pay for ads with a CC so I can at least get the 2% cash back my card offers. Iā€™m not venting but rather just sharing my experiences for the benefit of all. Thx!!

I just received this for the current Youtube adā€¦what is this about?

WTF??? All I did was follow every instruction of Johnā€™s

Dear advertiser,

Thanks for your continued patience during this process. Weā€™ve confirmed that your account is in violation of our Google Ads policies. Since this decision is final, the account will not be reinstated. Please avoid creating additional Google Ads accounts, as they will be subjected to the same suspension.

Our support team will not be able to give you any more specifics on the suspension.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth

just got this message too.
My FB and ADWORDS both cancelled.

I have set up and tried 3 Google ad accountsā€¦I keep getting the same ā€œcircumventingā€ policy bsā€¦and I have no idea why
all 3 have been suspended

I got my 5 Facebook business manager accounts cancel after posting Johnā€™s video. I tried to post on another facebook manager and after 2 days Johns video was disable by facebook-Ad violation, tried to contact Facebook, disputed saying that I follow Facebook guide lines and after 2 days my ad was restored.
My Google Ad account(YOUTUBE Video) is suspended definitely even after I disputed with Johnā€™s letter to Google. My question is if I open another Google account with different email but same information(name, addressā€¦) will Google cancel my new account too?

Please advise

hi sabrina, yes, i received this message and account is suspended. I have completed the form you r link directs to. and they came back with still in suspension.
Ive had my FB and google account now suspended. What is this?

The reasons given are as follows:

Circumventing systems

The following is not allowed:
Engaging in practices that attempt to circumvent or interfere with Googleā€™s advertising systems and processes

Example : Cloaking (showing different content to certain users, including Google, than to other users) that aims at or results in interference with Googleā€™s review systems, or hides or attempts to hide non-compliance with Google Ads policies (for example, redirection to non-compliant content, using dynamic DNS to switch page or ad content, or manipulating site content or restricting access to so many of your landing pages that it makes it difficult to meaningfully review your ad, site, or account)

Example : Repeated policy violations across any of your accounts, including creating new domains or accounts to post similar ads to ads that have been disapproved (for this or any other Google Ads policy rule) - HERE IT IS. I THINK SINCE LOTS OF ACCOUNTS GETTING BANNED FOR THE SAME THING. GOOGLE WILL THINK ITS THE SAME PERSON STARTING FRESH.

OR

Manipulating ad text in an attempt to bypass our automated system checks

Examples : Misspelling prohibited words or phrases to avoid ad disapproval; manipulating trademark terms in the ad text to avoid the restrictions associated with the use of that trademark.

Can you please tell me what to do or give me a google account

Get a credit card enter in your details.
That way you donā€™t run out of funds. And donā€™t use too many varying keywords keep it at a max 10 so that you donā€™t circumvent their traffic, Keep the keywords relevant to your campaign For instance donā€™t write ā€œBike mechanicā€ as one of your attempts to reach an audience stick to the script

Also check the URL you are using, sometimes google requires a thorough inspection of the website to see that it meets standards. So if you are repeatedly getting blocked change your domain

Having done some research on Google Shopping Network, it looks like they may require a phone number and contact email on the ad page that we are linking to - so that responders can contact us, and Google knows that there are not 1,000,000 advertising the same product with the same errors/duplicatin the SAS contact information.
I am thinking this means adding WordPress to our domain (that we got from BlueHost) then posting a blog post around Johnā€™s offer(s) to include the link that we get at the top of the main page after we log in to SAS. The individual blog post would include some details of the course and support system, and have a phone number/email address that people can contact.
That would allow us to build an email list as well!
If we want to sell directly from the blog we could add WooCommerce as a plugin (still working on understanding that part).
Let me know what you think!
