Hi, I’m just working my way through Week 2 & have set up a website using the manual method to try first which has been completed ok.
My question is with reference to FB ads.
Q: Can I post a Vendors Video Swipe directly on a FB page

Hi Tony,

Yeah you can use Video swipes on a FB page, but do you mean posting it to FB groups and your own page/profile, or creating your Facebook ads with the swipes?

If you want to post videos on your own facebook page/profile or promote a product on a Facebook group using a video, that’s all fine. You can even directly link to your hopling on these posts.

However, if you’d like to use a video swipe on facebook ads, then you will have to use your Presell page as a mediator, as Facebook & Google don’t allow direct affiliate links/hoplinks as paid ads.

So, I can’t upload a video swipe to my fb post ad to promote as a post.

I would have to create a new fb ad and redirect the ad to a landing page - website homepage link.

Is that correct.

Hi Tony,

You can post the video to your timeline and add your hoplink in the description, if the vendor has given permission for their materials to be used in such a way.

Please check the restrictions to avoid any copyright issues :slight_smile:
