I live in the UK. When trying to setup facebook ads i have been dogged by the attached requirement to update my VAT information (VAT 1)

I have not created any ads so I cannot forecast my earnings yet.

My accountant has not been able to help yet.

It appears that in the UK you cannot proceed creating Facebook ads until you assess your forward income and set up a unique company to pursue affiliate marketing, either sole trader or limited company.

Can the team please advise what UK affiliate marketers do when trying to set up FB Ads in Business Manager?

This will help me get off the ground!!

I would try selecting ‘No, I am not buying ads for business purposes’, and see if that allows you to move forward.

If you’re buying ads as an individual, I dont think you need some of that info.

Let me know if that works.
