Iām old and confused. Please tell me if there is a difference between/among a webpage, a presell page and a landing page or are they all the same things?

Yes, webpage, a presell page and a landing page are all essentially the same.
About any āpageā on the web is a webpage. Aptly named, right? 
What John calls a presell page, Iād typically call a landing page.
Some people call them āSqueezeā pages or āOpt-inā pages too.
Less important is the name and more important is the function.
Itās a webpage with the purpose of getting people to take an action (eg. opt-in, fill out a form, share an email, sign up for a webinar, etc.).
As opposed to a full website, itās usually just one page with one purposeā¦ to get the user to take a specific action.
