Same here, my thought was maybe it takes a few days to unlock if you’re going “too fast” through all the modules. Are you able to get to week 2 now?
No. It unlocks on a week by week basis. So when the first week ends then you will be able to see the second week content. till then you have to work with the week 1 content.
I do agree with you on that Point. I also had a hard time setting up the coolhandle website . I contacted the Support team and they sent me a link to try Blue Host,As for Solo Ads i followed the steps but no sales. I think FaceBook would have been the better option but that at the end, It seems to be the wrong way round.
We’ve updated the course to recommend bluehost again and provide training on setting up your site there.
Also, since some of you guys have been asking more advanced questions and inquiring about your own email lists, I’ve recently made a short video that shows the first step of making your own email list and converting your SAS presell page to an opt-in page, you guys might want to take a look when you feel like it
Great job HughGardner for starting this thread.
It may save many course newbies ( like myself) money when starting out.
Great job!
Thank you Ilya,
This is exactly what I was looking for tonight. I have been trying to figure this out for the last 2 weeks. We need at least to be able to follow up with EMAILS on those ‘‘order form impressions’’ to convince potential buyers/leads that didn’t make it to the final step of actually going through with BUYING. So far I got 8 ‘‘initial order form impressions’’ whit the SAS Survey clickfunnels set up but it is not converting to sales.
I don’t want to loose my precious money and time on solo ads/website hosting/clickfunnels membership that doesn’t convert into sales.
I am looking in to this tutorial right now! I’ll follow up here.
Cheers!
Yah. Isn’t it! Hope everything is fully operational now?
It took me a while to set everything up and now I was facing the problem of catching subscribers to my mailing list to relaunch the interest an convince them to buy. It worked with me as far I am concerned here. Didn’t buy the first time I came across the SAS offer (wanted it but wasn’t at 100% convinced even made it to the billing form) until I got a message from John in my inbox giving me another shot at it
That’s the way to go! Get those emails!!!
This thread is very frustrating to read. Many new students such as myself have been misled as to where to wisely put funds, following the training into fruitless solo ads needlessly. While I appreciate the acknowledgment here from IlyaG, this is hardly a sufficient response to people who have spent hundreds of dollars off of misinformation. Week 1 desperately needs to be clarified and an overall framework of how things are going to be structured around list building and retargeting (I assume?) would be tremendous. There is so much verbiage around “doing things exactly as they’re assigned” that it is difficult to know what is accurate at this point.
Hi Ilya,
Just for your information and for everyone else. I have received an ‘‘critical issue message’’ from mailchimp when I have proceeded to create the campaign as described in the video for converting your SAS presell page to an opt-in page.
My take on it is that I think they didn’t like the hoplinks in the email campaign content as it seems to be infringing on the ‘‘Acceptable Use Policy’’.
I haven’t got a response from them yet but some features of my account are disabled now!
Hi I ran a solo this weekend. 50 clicks (got 55) cost 25$. i ran it to an optin page first. So the link in the solo advert said “click here”. It then went to an optin-page saying “thanks put your email here for a FREE BOOK”. When they entered their email the page gave them the SAS link I got the email where I gave them another link to a FREE BOOK on affiliate marketinhg. From the 50 people I got 14 email addresses " 25$ for 14 Email addresses from people who are intested in affiliate marketing. So each email cost less than 2$ I willnow email them every 2 days with a couple of free offers, Throw in a “buy this” email after about 3 connections,
The ones that clicked the hop link to look at SAS should then get the email sequence from JC linked to me. Many people buy after some persuasion. So John´s email process may deliver some sales later.
Reading Hugh´s email I would not have spent $750 on solo emails or without collecting email addresses.
Personal opinion. There are arguments against collecting emails as it puts a second step in the customers way.
