Hi there, @crobinson7786. Well, broad match appears on searches that include misspellings, synonyms, related searches, and other relevant variations. While exact match may show on searches that match the exact term or are close variations of that exact term.
With this, we typically recommend using a broad-to-narrow strategy.
Start off with broad match keywords to maximize the potential to show your ads on relevant searches. Then onitor your keywords’ performance over time. If you find that your ad shows up for too many irrelevant variations of your keywords, try adding negative keywords to specifically stop some of those irrelevant matches.
Negative keywords excludes your ads from showing on searches with that term.
