Google Display Ad setup

Hi! Under John’s video explanation for the Google display ads, he says to click onto CLICKS on the ad setup. My page only allows CONVERSIONS. He said to use this only if I did a CONVERSION PIXEL. What is this? What is the difference between the CLICK vs. CONVERSIONS?

My ad is on CONVERSION because that is the only option I was given under my account. Is there a monetary difference? Is one more effective than the other?

I am wondering the same.

On the set up options, click “conversions” and “maximise conversions”.

Google have changed their interface since the video was recorded.
